At the Tuesday morning Rotary Ojai West meeting Nordhoff Senior Aubrey Schumacher was recognized as Student of the Month. Craig Edwards, a long time English teacher at Nordhoff nominated Aubrey for her passionate, hardworking and motivated presence in his English class. Aubrey was a member of the Steel Magnolia’s cast who went to the University of Nebraska last year to participate in the national finals for High School Drama productions. She is a member of the NHS Track team in the long and triple jump events. She is interested medicine and participates in the NHS Health Science Academy and will attend Santa Barbara City College in the fall then on to UCSB.
