Both the December 2017 and January 2018 Student of the Month were awarded at the Tuesday morning Rotary meeting. The December award was given to Nordhoff student Aureliano Camargo who was nominated by Health and College Career teacher and Water Polo head coach Jermaine Britton. Jermaine described Aureliano as a conscientious and self-disciplined leader with integrity in his class. Aureliano is interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Nordhoff senior Erin Snett was nominated by Nordhoff Dance Instructor Brittney Nevison. Erin has held many lead roles in Nordhoff musicals in the past few years and was nominated for her commitment, maturity and work ethic in the performing arts. Erin is planning on attending Carnegie Mellon University to major in acting.
