Rotary Club of Ojai West 30th Ojai Wine Festival Celebration

Under refreshingly cool skies at Lake Casitas a very successful 30th Rotary Club of Ojai West Wine Festival was celebrated by an increased crowd of wineries, breweries, and happy wine and brew tasters! Barefoot Wines provided the cake and bubbly for the celebration which has grown to become one of the premier fund raising events in Rotary District 5240.
Over 3,000 people enjoyed the afternoon tasting, eating, dancing, and relaxing. 120 volunteers, Rotarians, friends and spouses of Rotarians and some of the people who have been community recipients of grants from funds raised by the event, helped over 3 days of preparation, day of the event and the clean up afterwards.
Special thanks go to the amazing May family, Dave, Angela, Zack and Lexi, the equally amazing Bryan and Nikki Crawford whose efforts are crucial to the success of the event. Also many thanks to Mike and Joanne Caldwell, Scott and April McArthur, Richard and Sheryl McArthur, Stephanie and Don Midgett, Bob and Laura Denne, Mike and Lori Leigh, Ross and Patty Atkinson, Prez Bill Shouse, the Ojai volunteer police, Mike Daley and everyone who came early, stayed late and made sure this was one of the smoothest running events ever. And of course our own fabulous photographer Steve Adams who caught it all digitally!
