Inspired by a Rotary International challenge to plant a tree for every Rotarian, RCOW partnered with nearby clubs and donated more than 150 trees to the Ojai Valley Land conservancy. 50 were planted and over 100 will be ready for planting this fall. In addition, nearly 100 more, which were started from acorns and small seedlings, are being grown by Beverly Schuberth of RCOW and will be ready for planting by the club next year.
This project will restore the many Oaks destroyed by the Thomas Fire in our Valley.
